We are always happy to see people at home if they are housebound. Anyone who can normally get out should make every effort to attend the surgery, as a much more efficient examination can be offered there.
If you wish to request a visit, please do so as early in the day as possible, preferably before 11am, and provide a phone number. The GP may call before visiting to ascertain if a visit is the best way of managing your problem, and to assess how urgent it is.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
